ZZ Plants thrive in bright, indirect light however they can happily tolerate lower light  and fluorescent lights, this just means the growth will be slower. 

Overwatering will hurt the plant, so allow the top few inches of soil to dry out before watering again. 

ZZ plants can tolerate usual house humidity but as they are from a tropical environment, they enjoy an occasional mist. 

ZZ Plant will be happy from 18 to 30 degrees. 

ZZ Plants should be fertilised once a month during it's growing period (spring to fall). 

Yes, ZZ plants are toxic to animals and humans if ingested.
