Refund and Returns Policy

Important: This policy is offered in addition to your legal consumer rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights as a consumer.


IN-STORE RETURNS POLICY

Returns & Exchanges for Change of Mind

Our policy lasts 14 days from date of purchase.

All items must be:

  • Unused and in the original condition as when purchased
  • Still have the original packaging and tags attached

What You Can Do

All items can be exchanged within 14 days of purchase, or you can receive a credit note to be used within the next year. Credit notes are valid for 12 months from issue.

Non-Exchangeable Items

Some items cannot be exchanged for hygiene and safety reasons:

  • Earrings (once tried on)
  • Other sealed hygiene products (once opened)

Faulty or Damaged Goods

If your item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you have additional legal rights that override this policy.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have the right to:

  • A full refund within 30 days of purchase if you reject the goods promptly
  • A repair or replacement (at our discretion) for faults discovered after 30 days but within 6 months
  • A refund for any fault within 6 months, unless you caused the damage

These rights apply regardless of whether the item was purchased at full price or in a sale.


ONLINE RETURNS POLICY

Your Right to Cancel (Cooling-Off Period)

When you purchase from us online, you have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goodsunder the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. You can cancel for any reason, without providing justification.

To cancel:

  1. Notify us at shop@noodskin.co.uk within 14 days of receiving your order
  2. Return the goods to us within 14 days of notifying us of cancellation
  3. We will refund you within 14 days of receiving the goods back or receiving proof of return (whichever is sooner)

Returns for Change of Mind

Our policy lasts 14 days from when you receive your goods.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

  • Unused and in the same condition as when you received it
  • In the original packaging with all tags attached
  • Accompanied by a copy of your dispatch note or receipt/proof of purchase

Non-Returnable Items

The following cannot be returned for change of mind:

  • Perishable goods (food, fresh items)
  • Magazines and publications
  • Earrings (once tried on, for hygiene reasons)
  • Personalised or made-to-order items
  • Sealed hygiene products (once opened)
  • Seasonal items (unless faulty or damaged)
  • Sale items (for change of mind only—see faulty goods section below)

How to Return

  1. Email shop@noodskin.co.uk to request a return

  2. Post your item to: NOOD Stores 32b Church Street Caversham Reading RG4 8AU

  3. Please use a tracked service (we recommend this for your protection)

  4. Postage costs: You are responsible for return postage costs unless the item is faulty or damaged (see below)

Refund Processing

Once we receive your returned item:

  1. We will inspect it and send you an email confirming receipt
  2. We will notify you whether your refund is approved or rejected
  3. If approved, we will process your refund to your original payment method within 3-5 working days
  4. Please allow up to 5 working days for the credit to appear in your bank account

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven't received your refund:

  1. Check your bank account again (it can take up to 5 working days to appear)
  2. Contact your credit card company or bank
  3. If you've done all this and still haven't received your refund, email us at shop@noodskin.co.uk

Faulty or Damaged Goods

If your item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you have additional legal rights that override this policy.

Return postage for faulty items: We will cover return postage costs if the item is faulty or damaged. Please contact us at shop@noodskin.co.uk before returning faulty goods.

Exchanges (Faulty Items Only)

We replace items if they are defective or damaged. For exchanges of faulty items, please email shop@noodskin.co.uk and we will arrange a replacement.

Delivery of Exchanged Items

The time for your exchanged product to reach you depends on your location. We will provide tracking information so you can monitor your delivery.


IMPORTANT NOTES

  • Please do not send items back to the manufacturer. We handle all returns and refunds.
  • Sale items: You cannot return sale items for change of mind. However, if a sale item is faulty or damaged, you have full statutory rights to a refund or replacement within 30 days.
