Yellow Rattle (plastic cases)

Yellow Rattle is a key ingredient in creating vibrant, flourishing wildflower habitats. This remarkable plant naturally weakens grasses by drawing nutrients from them, giving other wildflower seeds the space and nutrients to thrive. That means less money spent on weedkiller and less time spent on cutting grasses — all while encouraging a rich, biodiverse habitat.

Each tube contains carefully selected Yellow Rattle seeds from the 2024 harvest, thoughtfully prepared in upcycled yellow plastic cartridge cases for you and nature to enjoy.

Yellow Rattle needs frosty conditions to germinate, a process called vernalisation, and ideally needs about 4 months below 5C to germinate in the Spring. It is best planted in the Autumn, the yellow flowers on the Yellow Rattle plant make way for seed pods that rattle in the breeze.

Perfect for garden and meadow enthusiasts, and circularity-conscious consumers alike. Transform your outdoor spaces with fully traceable seeds with above-average germination rates.
