Spider plants prefer bright, indirect sunlight. Too much direct light may scorch their leaves. Too little light may cause the leaves to yellow a little, but they are generally happy in shady spots.
Keep the compost moist throughout the growing season, from spring through summer, but reduce watering in winter. Don’t let the compost become soggy as this could lead to root rot.
Spider Plants are hardy happy plants which won't be upset by a lack of humidity. But they will enjoy the occasional mist if you remember!
Average indoor temperatures of 13 to 18 degrees Celsius. This plant enjoys cooler temperatures so don't be afraid of putting your spider plant in a draughty spot!
During spring and summer, feed once a month with a general houseplant food. No feeding is necessary during the winter when plant growth naturally slows.
Spider Plants are not toxic to humans or pets. Yay!
