Water when the top few inches of soil feel dry to the touch. Rhipsalis will let you know when it’s thirsty because its tendrils will start to pucker and lose rigidity.

Although a cactus, this plant's natural habitat is a tropical forest so it thrives best in warm, humid environments

The ideal temperature is 18 to 24 °C. Abrupt changes in temperature level are harmful for the plant.

During spring and summer, feed once a month with a general houseplant food. No feeding is necessary during the winter when plant growth naturally slows.

A rhipsalis is considered non toxic to humans and pets if ingested.

Rhipsalis naturally occurs in isolated parts of Africa and Asia, making it the only type of cactus that is found outside of North and South America.

Rhipsalis is the largest and most diverse genus of epiphytic cactus. They are called epiphytic because they grow on other plants, but they are not parasites.
