Oxalis triangularis
Oxalis triangularis
Keep your Oxalis Triangularis in a filtered bright to medium light. Oxalis do thrive in bright indirect light yet can handle a few hours of direct sun.
Allowing the soil to dry out halfway down between waterings. Expect to water more often in brighter light and less often in lower light.
Normal room humidity is fine.
Average indoor temperatures of 18-30°C are best for an Oxalis.
Feeding only needs to be done infrequently, so using an all purpose fertiliser at normal strength once every couple of months is plenty.
An Oxalis is considered toxic to humans and pets if ingested.
A well-drained potting mix works well. Use a standard Premium indoor potting mix.
Your Oxalis can be easily propagated by dividing the "clump" and planting the bulbs up in different containers, the new "clump" will produce more bulbs and gradually fill its new home.
